    Customer Services Team Member

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Under direction from the Customer and Marketing Manager, act as the first point of contact for customers and organisations we work with, communicating positively and efficiently with customers and colleagues in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
    • Answer external calls and maintain a quick response rate to agreed standards, achieving high order value through link selling and customer rapport building, remaining calm and professional at all times.
    • Respond to sales and customer queries with a problem-solving approach to find solutions for customers, resolving complaints and queries as necessary. To be achieved by diffusing any difficult situations; responding to written communications effectively ensuring accurate information is provided and spelling & grammar is correct; where appropriate, recognising situations outside of your control passing these on correctly
    • Assist in processing orders and requests placed by telephone, email, & post in a timely & accurate manner
    • Assist in dealing with refund and exchanges to ensure customers receive ongoing  premium service post purchase.

    Shift patterns: 5 shifts of between 5 and 8 hours between 9 and 5 (Monday to Friday). Could suit someone with school hours to consider.

    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

    Contract length: 5 months followed by a review of the post and organisational requirements

    Interviews will be held w/c 01/11/2021

    Expected Start Date: 08/11/2021

    Salary: £9.50 per hour

    Location: Pool-in-Wharfedale, West Yorkshire

     

    The following positions are Kickstarter Scheme positions (candidates must be aged between 16-24 and on, or have applied for, Universal Credit). Both positions are 6 month contracts.

     

    INTERNET FULFILLMENT ASSISTANT

    Our growing family business is now searching for a friendly, helpful, confident individual with attention to detail to help us fulfil our internet orders and maintain good stock management at our shop in Harrogate Town Centre. The role will include (but not exclusively):

    • Responsible for picking and packing our web customers orders, making sure each parcel is packed correctly and to company standards
    • Completing and printing web orders, so some computer skills will be needed but we will provide training for all systems
    • Process returns and exchanges
    • Booking in stock
    • Stock management

    The applicant will have an eye for detail, work in an organised manner and be able to multi-task, enjoy taking on various tasks throughout the day but also be able to react to rise and falls in order volumes through seasonal peaks.

    Requirements;

    • A desire to gain work experience in online retail sales
    • Basic understanding of sales principles and good customer service practices
    • Basic administration skills
    • Ability and confidence to work to deadlines and instructions
    • Proactive and willingness to learn
    • Weekend work essential
    • Must want to be part of a team with a positive and hard-working approach to the role
    • Computer Literacy

    WORKING HOURS
    25 hours a week. Flexible shifts available. Voluntary overtime may be available (but is not guaranteed).

    SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT

    Our growing family business is now searching for a friendly, helpful, confident individual with attention to detail to help us develop and fulfil our digital and marketing strategy. Working under direction from the Customer and Marketing Manager and Development Director, the role will include;

    • Supporting the growth, development and maintenance of company social media channels, including Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
    • Creating dynamic written, graphic, and video content
    • Creating content that promotes audience interaction and encourages audience participation
    • Working as part of a team to develop social media campaigns
    • Keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
    • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
    • Using timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience engagement while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits
    • Grow audience, followers and most importantly, engagement, across our channels


    The applicant will have an eye for detail, work in an organised manner and be able to multi-task and react to audience feedback and trends. 

     Requirements

    • Marketing or social media marketing degree preferred, technology skills, copywriting, graphic design, teamwork, self-motivation, strong communication skills, enthusiasm, detail-oriented, collaboration.
    • Reliable, punctual and must want to be part of a team with a positive and hard-working approach to the role – there is no ‘i’ in Westmorland!
