British Sheepskin Rugs - Brown Natural
Our brown British sheepskin rugs are not dyed in any way have have the natural length of wool. Like all our sheepskin rugs these are a by-product of the food industry where the animals are reared in the UK.
The characteristics of dense fluffy wool, naturally shaped make it perfect for on placing on the floor by the bed or fire or over the back of a chair or sofa.
Single British skins usually measure 95-110cm x 60-80cm*
*Sheepskin rugs are measured from the fur side of the rug. The dimensions are approximate and can vary from rug to rug

These measurements are based on the length of the sheepskin (including fur)
The rugs we sell at shows and markets, in store and online are tanned with the environment in mind, that means there is not chrome used in the process and there for all the skins are not machine washable. Sheepskins are naturally dirt and bacteria resistant because of the lanolin in the wool, most of the time all it needs is a good brush with a slicker dog brush and an air on the line on a nice day. A good tip to freshen up your sheepskin try using dry shampoo - spray a small amount on leave to dry and brush it out.
With all rugs it is better to keep up than catch up, try not to let them get to fair down the line!
For our dyed rugs - Please avoid exposing them to strong and direct sunlight as this may result in the colours to change and / or fading
