As the global situation around COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) develops, we want to reassure all of our customers that we are taking it seriously and that we are monitoring official guidance very closely.
As Coronavirus continues to impact society, we are undoubtedly going to face a difficult time as a small independent family run business. In line with the latest Government and Health Authority guidance, we continue to operate as usual – in-store and online.
We will, and continue to, keep up to date with necessary precautions and safety measures to support your health and well-being. To help tackle the spread of the virus, we have put in place additional measures in our shop including:
- advanced daily cleaning for all contact points – door handles, card machine, till, phone etc
- continued frequent and proper handwashing
- we have antibacterial gel in the shop for customer use
- educating our staff on the necessary steps for prevention both for themselves and for customers
- we would appreciate it if you are able to pay contactless or card payment in the shop, but if this is not an option, we will ensure that we sanitise after handing any cash
By taking these actions we are confident that all efforts have been made to present as safe an environment as possible for customers and staff.
Please help us protect our team and our customers also. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourselves and others, please stay at home if you are showing symptoms - we can deliver to you. We are even offering FREE 2ND CLASS POST FOR ALL ORDERS IN THE UK for the foreseeable future.
For more details of symptoms please visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.
Please also be reassured that if any member of our team has a reason to self-isolate as a precaution, or if they are showing any symptoms, then they will be fully supported to do this.
Providing our customers with a high quality, safe shopping experience remains our top priority and we will continue to stay updated with Government and Health Authority guidelines and we will further improve our operating procedures, if and when, required.
SHOWS AND MARKETS
The shows and markets team are on alert for Government guidance and communications from event organisers at events they attend throughout the summer. They will be following the same guidance as the shop and internet team. If your local show is cancelled do not despair… call Howard, Joe or Joan on 0113 2251007 and they will help you with any purchases you wish to make and will be able to offer a postal service.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.
